Ashley Swearengin Fundraising Strong Out of the Gate for Run-Off Election Swearengin out raises her opponent by 3 to 1 (Fresno) – In the month of June, Ashley Swearengin raised nearly $79,000 for the November run-off election, besting her opponent by three to one and giving her a substantial edge heading into the November election. For the period ending June 30, Swearengin raised almost $79,000 with $76,000 cash on hand.
“Support for Ashley’s campaign continues to grow from a broad cross section of the community, and that’s why her June 30 report is so strong,” said Swearengin spokesman David Schecter. “There is a tremendous groundswell of support for her campaign as Fresno voters continue to express their strong desire for fresh, new leadership in city hall.”
Ashley Swearengin has made leadership and economic growth the hallmarks of her professional career. She is the co-founder and director of the Fresno Regional Jobs Initiative (RJI), which has been a catalyst for substantial community and economic development in the Fresno Region. She is also the lead executive to Governor Schwarzenegger’s Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley.
Ashley and Paul Swearengin will soon be celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary, and they are raising two school-aged children.
