Taxpayers Association of Central California PAC: Swearengin for Mayor

Fresno – Today, Mayoral candidate Ashley Swearengin announced the endorsement of the Taxpayers Association of Central California PAC.

“This endorsement means that the Taxpayers Association has seen that Ashley Swearengin puts the needs of taxpayers above those of special interests,” said organization President Jim Cobb.  “Her work and energy has brought new jobs to Fresno. There is no doubt—Ashley’s leadership is good for business.

The Taxpayers Association of Central California is a grassroots organization dedicated to representing the best interests of the community.

“I have a broad coalition of people supporting my campaign,” said Swearengin.  “As Mayor I will need to get the best qualities out of each and every person and organization in the area that is willing to lend a hand in making Fresno the top-tier city it should be.”

Swearengin is the co-founder of the Fresno Regional Jobs Initiative.  She has worked with business leaders that have created more than 20,000 jobs over the past four years.  Appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to bring economic growth to Fresno, Ashley helped secure over $1 billion in funding for our region for projects like improving transportation and cleaning our air.
