Ashley Swearengin Files Nominating Papers in Fresno Mayor Race

At 3:10pm today, Ashley Swearengin filed nominating signatures and other required documents with the Fresno County Elections Department, officially becoming a candidate for Mayor of Fresno. Her oath was administered by County Elections Officer Blanca Avalos.
 
Swearengin's filing of nomination papers was preceded by a morning campaign rally at El Torito Restaurant in downtown Fresno. Over 100 business and community leaders, friends and supporters from across Fresno attended to show their strong support for Swearengin's Mayoral campaign.
